The Week that Was … ending April 9, 2022

Welcome to the latest (and perhaps last) edition of The Week that Was, my rundown of what happened last week, curated, in the loosest sense of the word, for your reading pleasure, or displeasure.

I say perhaps last because Substack.com would not let me publish my newsletter due to an unspecified “potential” violation of terms of service on my part. A “potential” violation for which I received no notice; I learned about this after working yesterday for twelve hours on the newsletter, when I uploaded the newsletter in order to send it out Sunday morning.
